What is the histroy of Applecrest Farm?
The charming land that is now called Applecrest Orchards was settled in 1665 by British immigrant, James Prescott. Once he passed away, it was inherited by his grandson, Ebenezer whose descendants sold it to Aaron Wells of Massachusetts in 1774. The Wells family owned the farm until 1913. The farm was then bought by Walter Baldwin who saw an opportunity for Applecrest Farm Orchards.
